NASPO Cares
This year’s service recipient is Americans for the Arts, a non-profit that aims to: “build recognition and support for the extraordinary and dynamic value of the arts and to lead, serve, and advance the diverse networks of organizations and individuals who cultivate the arts in America.”
According to Americans for the Arts, “as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to rage, so does its devastation of the nation’s arts sector. Since the first U.S. case was reported in January 2020, cancellations have taken place at virtually every arts organization across the country, artists are among the most severely affected segment of the nation’s workforce, and 1 in 10 non-profit arts organizations doubt their ability to survive the pandemic.”
Join fellow participants and suppliers in the Exchange Networking Social for an engaging program designed to challenge your musical ear and get your toes tapping and your spirits lifted! Through this year’s NASPO Cares program, participants will come together to recognize how the arts enrich our lives and bring us hope during tough times. #ArtsCreateHope
